I have been having such fun today exploring links from the Globaloria site. It started with games made by the students. These always give the source(.FLA)code and a "Try this" suggestion in Flash. Then I went into professionally-made parts of games demonstrating specific possibilities by MaMaMedia.com and Seed.slb.com. The picture builders with noisy stickers were really fun. From there I followed links to MaMaMedia created by Idit about 10 years ago, and also saw with MySLife how Seed by Schlumberger was involved. Then I had to find out who Schlumberger was - a Houston Oil Services Company. From there I got curious about "corporate citizenship" and google brought up all kinds of corporations and how they describe their involvement in their community and sometimes in the world. Of particular interest is : Reebok at corporate.reebok.com/en/corporate_citizenship...especially their REebok Human Rights Foundation.
On the whole the Globaloria site is impressive in every sense: mission, bios of team members, collaborators, partners... way to go, Globaloria!
So glad you had a chance to explore the site! Pretty soon some of your students' content could end up on there too!
