I really love this class. I love the limitless potential. I love watching light bulbs go off in student's eyes as they start to perceive the open-ended possibilities. As a second year educator, I have gained confidence in the subject matter & do not feel as unsure as I did last year. (Thank God for that!) My returning student voiced much the same in his first blog post of the year. It is exciting to anticipate where the class will go this year. I look forward to the interchange of the new Knowledge Area networks where we will build strong collaborations. I believe that the updates to the Globaloria Curriculum are useful & will guide and encourage students to do quality research. I am sure the games this year will exhibit great depth in how they present their topics as we reach to meet the challenge of avoiding quiz-based games...always an adventure.
